Crosscut Films (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us when you visit our websites and register for our Film Workshops (“Site”, “Services”). By using the Site or registering for our workshops, you acknowledge that you have read and accept this Privacy Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time; updates take effect when posted on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

- Name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
- Payment-related information you enter on payment pages (note: we do not store full card/UPI details — see Payment Processing).
- Communications you send us (questions, support requests, feedback).
- Any other information you voluntarily provide (e.g., portfolio links, bios).
Automatically collected data
- Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, device model, pages visited, referring URLs, and time spent on pages collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your data
We use your information to:
- Register and manage your workshop participation and related services.
- Process and reconcile payments and send receipts.
- Respond to and resolve support requests.
- Send workshop-related communications, updates, and optional marketing (you can opt out).
- Improve the Site, our workshops, and user experience.
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payment processing
- Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment aggregators such as Razorpay and PhonePe.
- Crosscut Films does not store full payment card details, UPI PINs, or other sensitive financial credentials. Payment data (card or UPI) is submitted directly to the payment processor and handled under their security and privacy practices.
- We may receive limited payment-related information from the aggregator, such as transaction IDs, payment status, the last four digits of a card (when provided), and billing name/email for reconciliation and receipts.
- By completing a payment, you agree to the terms and privacy policies of the selected payment provider.
5. Cookies & tracking technologies
- We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Site function, remember preferences, and collect analytics.
- You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
- Where applicable, you can opt out of analytics tracking via browser or device-level controls.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We may share data only when necessary to:
- Trusted service providers who assist with website hosting, payments, email delivery, and analytics—under contracts that require confidentiality.

- Marketing opt-out: If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails, follow the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us. Service-related messages (e.g., registration confirmation, receipts) cannot be unsubscribed.
- Withdrawing consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time; this will not affect processing already completed.
11. Third-party links and services
Our Site may contain links to third-party sites or embed third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
12. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
