Questions
Are the workshops live or recorded?
Live. Every workshop is taught live by our mentors, so you get real interaction and one-on-one attention. Sessions can’t be recorded, but after the workshop we email you a PDF covering everything that was discussed.
What’s the difference between online and in-person workshops?
Online workshops (codes ending in ON) run live over Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere with a computer, a good internet connection and a webcam. In-person workshops (codes ending in IP) happen at our studio in JP Nagar, Bengaluru, with hands-on time on our systems.
Do I need any experience?
Not for beginner workshops, crash courses and 101s: they start from scratch. You need a genuine interest in the subject, basic computer skills and, for online workshops, a computer that can run the software. Advanced workshops and masterclasses expect some hands-on experience or one of our beginner workshops. Not sure where to start? Message us and we’ll point you to the right one.
What do I get at the end?
A completion certificate, the workshop notes as a PDF, discounts on future workshops and a place in the Crosscut Post talent database. When a suitable project comes up, we reach out to people in the database, so keep practising.
How do I pay?
All payments go through Razorpay’s secure gateway, so you can pay by UPI, credit or debit card, or net banking. For workshops with dates announced, such as Color Grading, you go straight to payment after registering. For the others, enquire and we’ll send you a secure payment link once dates are set.
What if I can’t attend after paying?
Refunds and credits depend on how early you cancel. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy has the full details.
How is this different from ₹99 online courses?
Most cheap courses are short recorded videos sold to hundreds of people, with no real interaction. Ours are live, taught by working industry professionals, and kept to small batches so everyone gets focused attention.
